Roy Travis Sandlin
Funeral services for Roy Travis Sandlin, 91, of Cullman will be at 2 p.m. Friday, July 13, 2012, at Moss-Service Funeral Home Chapel, the Rev. Paul Campbell officiating, with burial in Hopewell Cemetery, with Masonic graveside services.
Moss-Service Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Sandlin died Wednesday, July 11, at Cullman Regional Medical Center. He was born March 7, 1921, to Warren Travis and Cora Baggett Sandlin. He graduated from Cold Springs High School in 1942 and joined the Merchant Marines, where he served for 15 years. He then worked at Reagan Equipment Company until he retired as a service representative. The company specialized in installing equipment on oil rigs and other large structures.
Survivors include his wife, Virginia Crane Sandlin; a sister, Thelma Sandlin Thomas; and a host of nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be from noon to 2 p.m. Friday.
