Funeral services for Fredrick Allen Brown, 80, of Cullman will be Wednesday, August 22, 2012 at 11 a.m. at Cullman Heritage Funeral Home Chapel with Bros. Dudley Brock and Floyd Cline officiating.

Cullman Heritage Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Mr. Brown died Sunday, August 19, 2012 at his residence. He was born September 19, 1931 in Indianapolis, Ind., to George Brown and Mary Tidler Brown Plymate. He was a retired truck driver for Webb Wheel. He was a former owner of Star Barber Shop, a newspaper carrier for The Cullman Times, and a guard for Babcock warehouse. He was a veteran of the United States Marines and served in the Korean War where he was awarded two Purple Hearts. He was a member of Faith Cumberland Presbyterian Church.

He was preceded in death by his parents; a son, Fred Brown, Jr.; and a daughter, Peggy Brown.

He is survived by his wife, Louise Kreps Davis Brown; a daughter, Lois (Bob) Fletcher; a stepson, Peter (Valerie) Davis; stepdaughters, Theresa (Halan) Conn and Wendy (Cyril) Davis; daughter-in-law, Vickie Brown; 14 grandchildren, Nicklaus Brown, Blake (Amber) Brown, Mitchell Brown, Ronnie Baughman, Richard (Rebecka) Baughman, Mark (Kimberlee) Davis, Wesley Hale, Melissa (Heith) Johnson, Bethany Mann, Ashley Tucker, Sarah (Tony) Aguero, Christopher Clay, Cassidy Davis and Zachary Davis; and 14 great-grandchildren, Ashley Baughman, Kasey Baughman, Riley Baughman, Rachel Baughman, Regan Baughman, Sage Baughman, Cason Davis, Kaden Johnson, Levi Johnson, Makayla Johnson, Emilee Mann, Rylie Tucker, Brooke Tucker, and Karianna Aguro; a host of nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be Tuesday, August 21, 2012 from 6 - 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
