Ronnie Hershel Waldrep Sr.
Funeral services for Ronnie Hershel Waldrep Sr., 59, of Roanoke, Va., will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 1, 2012, at Moss-Service Funeral Home Chapel, with burial in New Mt. Zion Cemetery.
Moss-Service Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Waldrep passed away Monday, July 30, at Roanoke Medical Center. He was born Oct. 9, 1952, to Hershel and Charlsie Wix Waldrep.
He was preceded in death by his parents; a son, Rance Andrew Waldrep; a daughter, Samantha Eleanor Waldrep; two brothers, Terry Lavon Waldrep and Marlon Robert Waldrep; and a grandson, Nathan Kennedy Calloway.
Survivors include his fiancée, Leinette Bradford; two sons, Ronnie (Beth) Waldrep II and Stephen (Michaelle) Waldrep; two daughters, Judy (Scott) Tankersley and Sandy Scruggs; two sisters, Judy Waldrep Hall and Karen (Brett Folette) Waldrep; 14 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Visitation was from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
