ARAB — Paula Kay Phillips Sando

Paula Kay Phillips Sando, 59, of Arab died Sunday, Nov. 10, 2013, at her residence.

Mrs. Sando was born Feb. 13, 1954, in Carlsbad, New Mexico, the daughter of James Edward and Wilma Pauline Hipp Phillips. She was a homemaker and a graduate of Holly Pond High School and also attended college.

She is survived by a son, Fredrick Dean Sando; a daughter, Megan Paulina Sando; four brothers and a sister-in-law, Jim and Corene Phillips, Charles Phillips, Donald Phillips and Ted Phillips; three sisters and brothers-in-law, Joyce Blackmon, Janis and Don Collins and Patsy and Johnny Baker, and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 14, at Arab Heritage Memorial Chapel, Bro. Jackie Satterfield officiating. Burial will be in New Home Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Johnathan Baker, Shannon Baker, David Phillips, Jayson Phillips, Kory Sexton and Lee Weathersby.

Visitation will be from 9 to 11 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
