VINEMONT — Justin Mark Edens

Graveside services for Justin Mark Edens, 34, of Vinemont, formerly of Jonesville, Va., were held at noon Monday, Sept. 23, 2013, at Lee Memorial Gardens in Woodway, Va., where he was laid to rest beside his sister, Jaclyn Karol Edens.

Cullman Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Mr. Edens passed away Thursday, Sept. 19, in Cullman. He was born June 11, 1979, to Mark and Sharon Edens. Justin was a 1998 graduate of Volunteer High School, a member of Northbrook Baptist Church, and a 10-year cancer survivor. He will forever be remembered for his quick wit, his practical jokes, and his love for his daughters.

He was preceded in death by his sister.

Survivors include his parents; his daughters, Ava Claire and Amelia Violet Edens; a sister, Jessica Edens; a nephew, Dylan Yankee; a brother, Jarrod Edens of Waynesville, N.C.; his former wife, Julie Jennings Edens; a stepson, Fletcher Jennings; maternal grandparents, Cecil and Georgia Sumpter of Jonesville, Va.; paternal grandparents, Gene and Hazel Edens of Erwin, Tenn.; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, family and friends.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to a memorial fund established for Justin’s daughters at any Merchants Bank.

    Carlton Eugene Stafford, 82, of Cullman passed away Saturday, July 26, 2014, at Cullman Regional Medical Center. He was born April 14, 1932, James and Mary Katherine Brown Stafford. Mr. Stafford was an Air Force veteran of the Korean War. He was the original owner of Carlton’s restaurant.
