CULLMAN — Jean Collins Wilson

Funeral services for Jean Collins Wilson will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 15, 2012, at Ridout’s Gardendale Chapel, Pastor Frank Wood and Ken Dees officiating, with interment in Oakwood Memorial Gardens.

Ridout’s Gardendale Chapel is in charge of arrangements.

Born March 8, 1950, Mrs. Wilson went home to be with the Lord Wednesday, Dec. 12. Jean was a member of Spring Hill Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents: Julian A. and Sadie B. Collins; her brother, Julian C. Collins; and her sister, Christine Hooper.

Jean is survived by her loving husband of 43 years, Don Wilson; two sons: Jonathan “Red” (Leslie) Wilson and Jeremy Wilson; two daughters: Donna (Robert) Gonzales and Kristi Appling; eight grandchildren: Blake Gonzales, Dustin Gonzales, Kayleigh Gonzales, Peyton Appling, Mackenzie Appling, Hunter Appling, Riley Wilson and Macey Hope Wilson; four brothers: Donald (Mary) Collins, Harry W. (Carrie) Collins, Tommy (Sandra) Collins and Robert (Debbie) Collins; three sisters: Betty (Ed) Clark, Barbara Wilson and Eddie (Mike) Smith; her brother-in-law, Ron (June) Wilson; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at on Friday at the funeral home.
