Rickey Hugh Phillips
Rickey Hugh Phillips, 53, of Melbourne, entered into rest Tuesday, Nov. 20, 2012. He was born in Cullman, Alabama, Feb. 21, 1959.
A beloved father, husband, brother and son, Rickey is survived by his daughters, Kristen and Kaitlin; son, Kevin; and sister, Rhonda Phillips Jackson.
He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, June Edge Phillips.
Rickey's family wishes to thank all of those from Space Coast United Soccer Club, Rockledge Soccer Club, Eau Gallie High School Soccer, Knight's Armament in Titusville, FLORIDA TODAY, and other friends and families who have been their support through these difficult days.
There was a celebration of his life held at 4 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 25, in the chapel at Florida Memorial Funeral Home in Rockledge.
Rickey lost a courageous battle with cancer. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in his name to the Relay For Life of Eau Gallie, American Cancer Society, 4450 W. Eau Gallie Blvd. Ste. 280, Melbourne, FL 32934.
