CULLMAN — Horace M. ‘Red’ Cleghorn

Celebration of Life services for Horace M. “Red” Cleghorn, 80, of Columbia, Tenn., will be at 1 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 12, 2013, at Liberty Baptist Church in Helicon, Ala.

Heritage Funeral Home and Cremation Services of Columbia, Tenn., is in charge of arrangements.

Mr. Cleghorn passed away Monday, Jan. 7, at Signature Health Care in Columbia. A native of Helicon, Horace was born April 5, 1932, the son of the late Fletcher and Arbell Cleghorn. He was of the Baptist faith and previously worked as a truck driver for a concrete company. He was one of 15 children.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, John Cleghorn; and 13 brothers and sisters.

Survivors include his wife, Dorothy Cleghorn of Jasper; two sons, Larry Cleghorn of Columbia and Gary Cleghorn of Jasper; a sister, Verlene Vigal of Birmingham; a stepsister, Wilma Jean Farley of Arley; six grandchildren, Rebecca Peña, Brian Willocks, Ben (Sara) Willocks, Jesse Cleghorn, Megan Cleghorn and John Colton Cleghorn; and six great-grandchildren.

The family will visit with friends from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday at the church.
