CULLMAN — Brian E. Hale

Funeral services for Brian E. Hale, 42, of Cullman County, passed at his home Thursday, June 27, 2013, after a long battle with cancer. He was born April 25, 1971, in Chattanooga, Tenn. He graduated from Austin High School in Decatur in 1989. He attended the University of Alabama with an engineering degree. He loved the outdoors and fishing was his favorite pasttime. He owned his own company, Creekside Construction Services, Inc. in Cullman. He was a steele detailer.

He is survived by his wife, Mary Joyce-Hale; daughter, Marlee Hale; parents, Carl and Dianna Hale; sister, Kimberly Hale; brother, Bradley Hale; five nieces and nephews; grandparents, Hoyt and Ethel Drake; and an aunt, Sharon Drake.

He was preceded in death by grandparents, Leonard and Velva Hale.

The family is planning a private ceremony, but for anyone who would like to pay their respects, the family welcomes you to visit them in their home Monday, July 1, 2013, from 2 to 4 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made at Traditions Bank to the Brian Hale Memorial Fund.
