Jack Conard Calvert
Funeral services for Jack Conard Calvert, 88, of Crane Hill will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 22, 2009, at Hanceville Funeral Home Chapel, Kent Persall officiating with interment in Prospect Church of Christ Cemetery in Trimble.
Hanceville Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Calvert died Saturday, Sept. 19, at Woodland Village Health Care Center. He was born Aug. 10, 1921, in Cullman to William Robert and Della Jane Freeman Calvert.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and three brothers, Willard, Wallace and Clarence Calvert.
Survivors include his wife, Hertilene Nona Garner Calvert of Crane Hill; three sons, Lawrence Calvert of Cullman, Roger (Barbara) Calvert of Dayton, Texas, and Bruce (Katie) Calvert of Crane Hill; a daughter, Benita (Rex) Mosley of Crane Hill; seven grandchildren, Jimmy Calvert, Kristi (Jeff) Seal, Justin (Summer) Mosley, Melissa (Jody) Maddox, Stephanie (Noah) Eisner, Tiffany (Chad) Gambrill and Nathan Calvert; and eight great-grandchildren.
Visitation was from 5:30 to 9 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
