Funeral services for Allie Lois Green, 90, of Bangor will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 22, 2012, at Lemley Funeral Home, Bro. Theron Robertson officiating, with interment in Highrock Cemetery.
Lemley Funeral Home in Oneonta is in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Green died Wednesday, Sept. 19, at her residence. She was born April 16, 1922, in Marshall County to Jesse Lee Hammock and Myrtle Head Hammock. She was a homemaker and a member of Highrock FCM Church and attended Friendship No. 2 Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Jesse and Myrtle Head Hammock; her husband, Levi Clinton Green; a daughter, Ola Marie Blackwood; two sisters, Thelma Fortner and Katherine Bentley; a brother, Chester Hammock; and a granddaughter, Janice Ruth Hestla.
Survivors include four daughters, Agnes Evealyene Allred of Blountsville, Wilma Grace (James Robert) Criddle of Hanceville, Lois Jeaneette (William) Fortner of Bangor and Laura Loretta Duke of Bangor; four sons, James Elza (Thelma) Green of Hanceville, Paul Edward Green of West Point, John Lelton (Shirley) Green of Frost Proof, Fla., and Clifton Lewis (Judith) Green of Smith Lake; 25 grandchildren; and a host of great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday and from 8 to 11 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
