Funeral services for Gladys Estelle Yates Pinkard, 89, will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, March 23, 2013, at Cullman Heritage Funeral Home Chapel.
Cullman Heritage Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Pinkard, 89, passed away Wednesday, March 20, at Woodland Village Healthcare. She was born May 15, 1923, in Cullman County. She was a nurse at Cullman Hospital.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Troy Columbus Yates and Tessie Mae Pike Yates; her husband, James Dewitt Pinkard; her two sons, Jim Pinkard and Rudy Pinkard; and two brothers, James Melvin Yates and Edward Yates.
Survivors include daughter-in-law, Mary Ann (Javon) Daniel; grandchildren, Jeremy (Brigette) Pinkard, Nick Pinkard, and Dusty (Kelly) Pinkard; great-grandchildren, Taylor Pinkard, Van Pinkard, Emma Claire Pinkard, Sebastian Pinkard, and Dyme Pinkard; and three sisters, Bovine “Pat” Lambert, Lera Mae Wier and Frances Yates Willingham.
Visitation will be from noon to 2 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
