CULLMAN — Wendell Arlen Shedd

Funeral services for Wendell Arlen Shedd, 68, of Baileyton will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 16, 2012, at Cullman Funeral Home Chapel, the Revs. Steve LeCroy and Eric Stone officiating, with interment in Roswell Creek Cemetery.

Cullman Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Mr. Shedd passed away Sunday, Oct. 14. He was born April 16, 1944, to Hugh Lee and Lucille Banister Shedd. He was a member of Roswell Creek Church. He worked at Lanson Industries for 25 years and at Cullman Products for 16 years.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and a sister, Edna Faye Whitehead.

Survivors include his wife of 48 years, Shirley Moody Shedd; two sons, Leslie (Denise) Shedd and Steve (Tammy) Shedd; brothers, Roy (Faye) Shedd, Billy (Brenda) Shedd, Junior (Paulette) Shedd, Donald (Maxine) Shedd, and O.V. (Beatrice) Shedd; sisters, Patricia (Wendell) Peterson, Teresa (Greg) Griffin; brother-in-law, Lowell Whitehead; grandchildren, Heather Shedd, Tiffany (Brandon) Jarrett, and Harper Shedd; great-great-grandson, Grady Jarrett; and family and friends.

Visitation was from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
