Steven L. Burney
Steven L. Burney, 55, of Hanceville passed away Monday, Dec. 23, 2013, at Cullman Regional Medical Center. He was born Feb. 2, 1958, in Cullman ] to Clifford K. and Virginia Juanita Grimmett Burney.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and two sisters, Kathy Burney and Julyette Johnston.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Monday, Dec. 30, 2013, at Mt. Grove Baptist Church, the Rev. Johnny Reid officiating, with interment in Hopewell Cemetery. Mr. Burney will lie in state from 1 to 2 p.m. at the church.
Survivors include his wife, Mickie Burney; a son, Adam Burney; a daughter, Briana Loomis; six sisters, Jill (David) Rouse, Connie Roquemore, Joan Perkins, Juanita (Johnny) Reid, Barbara (Bill) Burks and Faye (James) Hunt; five brothers, Kennith Rodney Burney, Phillip Greg Burney, Dwight (Debbie) Burney, Ronald (Barbara) Burney and Derrol Burney; a grandson, Brayden Burney; and a host of nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be from 6 to 9 p.m. Sunday at Moss-Service Funeral Home.

Funeral services for Ms. Sharon Capps Phillips, 69, of Springhill will be held at 4 p.m. Friday, April 18, 2014, at Cullman Funeral Home Chapel, Mike Waters officiating, with interment at Springhill Cemetery.
James Edward McCravy
Funeral services for James Edward McCravy, 80, of Cullman will be held on Saturday, April 19, 2014 at 2 p.m. at First Baptist Church of Hanceville; with interment in Ebenezer Cemetery. He will lie in state one hour prior to the service. The family will receive friends on Friday from 5:30 p.m. to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.
