CULLMAN — Mildred Ruth Crumbley

Funeral services for Mildred Ruth Crumbley, 85, of Cullman were at 2 p.m. Monday, Oct. 8, 2012, at Duck River Baptist Church, the Rev. Brady Kilgo and Layne Howard officiating, with interment in the church cemetery. The body llay in state from 1 to 2 p.m. Monday at the church.

Cullman Heritage Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Crumbley died Saturday, Oct. 6, at Cullman Long Term Care. She was born Dec. 3, 1926, in Cullman to William Banks and Ethel Mae Samples Burrow. She was a homemaker and worked at Cullman Lingerie and Hole Proof Hosiery.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Samuel S. Crumbley; and two daughters, Debbie Berry and Brenda Crumbley.

Survivors include three sons, Jesse (Dianne) Crumbley, Ronald (Jeannie) Crumbley and Sammy (Jane) Crumbley; two daughters, Gladys (Norman) Wisener and Suzie (Walter) Busby; a sister, Claudia Louise Buchanan; 13 grandchildren, Jeff (Lisa) Wisener, Chris (Tarron) Wisener, Scott (Kim) Crumbley, Brandy (Kevin) Allen, Veronica Crumbley, Stephanie Crumbley, Ron (Terri) Crumbley, Jannie (Michael) Atkins, Josh Berry, Heath Berry, Raven Crumbley, Shane Crumbley, Brittney Morris, Jason Busby and Crystal (Kavin) Gibson; and 15 great-grandchildren, Peyton and Mattie Wisener, Harris and Hailey Crumbley, Lillimae and Annalee Allen, Kayla and Trent Brown, Cylas, Addie Mae and Forrest Crumbley, A.J. and Ava-Kate Atkins; and Brody and Ashton Gibson.

Pallbearers will be Mrs. Crumbley’s grandsons.

Visitation was from 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday.
