Ozela Vines Burgett
A private family service for Ozela Vines Burgett, 92, will be held Thursday, Nov. 15, 2012, at Enon Cemetery, the Revs. Dennis Reeves and Robert Morgan officiating.
Mrs. Burgett was born Jan. 12, 1920, and passed away Tuesday, Nov. 13. She will be remembered for her incredible green thumb and her love of gardening.
Ozela is survived by one daughter, Jone (Herman) Bolte of Hattieburg, Miss.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Monroe Burgett; her parents, Martin B. and Cora C. Smith Vines; a brother, Walter Vines; three sisters, Jessie Scruggs, Pearl Braswell and Bertha Ellenburg.
A special thanks to Rev. Reeves and Rev. Morgan for presiding at the service, as well as, Alacare Hospice. The family encourages those wishing to remember Ozell, to plant something and enjoy watching it grow.
