Funeral services for Winnie Ballard, 74, of Vincent will be Saturday, May 2, 2009 at Charter Funeral Home in Calera, Ala. with minister Donny Acton officiating. Burial to follow at Elliottsville Cemetery in Alabaster.
Charter Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Ms. Ballard passed away Wednesday, April 29, 2009.
She was preceded in death by her grandson, Brett Street.
Survivors include former husband, Alvin Ballard; a son, Floyd Burnett (Ron Wolf) of Cullman; two daughters, Gail Street (Chris) of North Shelby County and Barbara Bearden (Steve) of Alabaster; two sisters, Linda Helms of Garden City and Elaine Pitts (Donnie) of Hanceville; two brothers, Roger Winfrey of Cullman and Leroy Winfrey of Garden City; a granddaughter, Christy Herrera of North Shelby; a grandson, Trent Bearden (Sara) of Germany and six great grandchildren.
Visitation is Friday, May 1, 2009 from 6 - 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
