Funeral services for Wayne Lynn, 70, of Cullman will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 19, 2008, at Cullman Funeral Home Chapel, Bro. Dillion Calvert officiating, with interment in Cullman City Cemetery.
Cullman Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Lynn passed away on Monday, Nov. 17, at his residence. He was born Jan. 30, 1938, to Clarence Burl and Lula Vance Lynn. He was the owner of Wayne’s Meat Market for over 20 years. He was a member and deacon of Valley Springs Baptist Church. The family would like to say a special thank you to Lifecare Hospice, Independent Medical Services, Tom Mingus and Jackie Laughton.
He was preceded in death by his parents; a grandson, Grant O’Neal Wise; three brothers, Wilford Lynn, Wilburn Lynn and Jack Lynn; and two sisters, Ojean Williams and Ola Mae Jackson.
Survivors include his wife of 53 years, Becky Lovvorn Lynn; two daughters, Sherry Lynn (Coby) Tankersley and Judy Lynn (Keith) Wise; two sisters, Roberta Venturella and Willadean Elliott; three grandchildren, Lindsey Wise, Chad Tankersley and April Tankersley (Jason) Hayes; and a host of family and friends.
Pallbearers will be Coby Tankersley, Keith Wise, Chad Tankersley, Jason Hayes, Eli Howard, Robert Sutter.
Honorary pallbearers will be Ronnie Scott and Eddie Willoughby.
Visitation was Tuesday.
