Russell Lee Harbison
Funeral services for Russell Lee Harbison, 42, of Cold Springs will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 20, 2007 at Hanceville Funeral Home Chapel with the Revs. Paul Campbell and David Richards officiating. Interment will follow at Addington Chapel Cemetery in Bremen.
Hanceville Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Harbison died Friday, Feb. 16, 2007 at Druid Hospital in Tuscaloosa.
Survivors include his wife, karen Harbison of Cold Springs; daughters, Cassie Danielle, Chloe Lee and Claire Elise Harbison, all of Cold Springs; his parents, Nolan and Ruth Harbison of Cullman; a brother, Lansing (Amy) Harbison of West Point; nieces and nephews, Brook, Brody and Harley Harbison, and Gage and Cole Madison; and his grandmother, Vessie Burrow of Crane Hill.
Mr. Harbison was an iron worker for 15 years and a member of Iron Workers No. 92. He attended Addington Chapel United Methodist Church and was a loving father.
Visitation will be from 6 to 9 p.m. Monday, Feb. 19, 2007 at Hanceville Funeral Home.
L. Dwight Henslee
Funeral services for L. Dwight Henslee, 72, will be at 1 p.m. Monday, Feb. 19, 2007 at Moss-Service Chapel with John Temple officiating. Burial will follow at Cullman City Cemetery.
Moss-Service Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Henslee died Feb. 16, 2007 at Woodland Village Healthcare Center. He was born Sept. 7, 1934.
He was preceded in death by his parents, J.C. Henslee Jr. and Laura Mae Umphrey Henslee
Survivors include his wife, Ethelene ‘Susie’ Henslee; son, David Henslee of Auburn; daughter, Susan (Jeff) Walker of Tuscaloosa; and grandchildren, Nathan Walker, Rachel Walker and Alex Walker.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Seventh Street Baptist Church, 708 7th Street S.W., Cullman, AL 35055
Visitation will be from 7 to 9 p.m. today at Moss-Service Chapel.
Douglas D. Goodlett Sr.
Funeral services for Douglas D. Goodlett Sr., 73, of Cullman will be at 11 a.m. Monday, Feb. 19, 2007, at Cullman Heritage Funeral Home Chapel, the Rev. Shirley Witcher officiating, with burial in Cullman Heritage Cemetery.
Cullman Heritage Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Goodlett died Friday, Feb. 16 at his residence. He was born on June 1, 1933, in Cullman to Louis Monroe and Mary Agatha Thompson Goodlett. He was a retired local business man and was married for 51 years.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and a brother, Louis Monroe Goodlett.
Survivors include his wife of 51 years, Catherine Kay Goodlett; two sons, Douglas (Loretta) Goodlett Jr. and Dennis Goodlett; a daughter, Debbie (David) Harbison; two sisters, Dorothy Smith and Ruby Waldrop; and two grandchildren, Cory Goodlett of Cullman and Branden Harbison of Hendersonville, Tenn.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Wiregrass Hospice.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. today at Cullman Heritage Funeral Home Chapel.
Marshall Grant Martin
Marshall Grant Martin was born on Thursday, Feb. 15, 2007, at 1:06 a.m. at Decatur General Hospital to parents, Jeremy and Karen Martin of Fairview; brother, Ethan Laine Martin; grandparents, Allen and Denise Martin of Arab and Billy and Joyce Pair of Vinemont; great-grandparents, Ruth Martin of Hanceville and Ann Baker of Blountsville.
God took him to Heaven on Thursday, Feb. 15, 2007.
He was preceded in death by great-grandparents, Jessie and Lorraine Thomason of Blountsville, Len and Gladys Pair of Cullman, Dilvon and Erma Bryant of Double Springs, Charles Hyatt of Blountsville and Wade Martin of Blountsville.
Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 18, 2007, at Fairview Baptist Cemetery, the Rev. James Garrison officiating.

Edith Marie Thomas
Edith Marie Thomas, 77, of Mint Hill, N.C., passed away peacefully at Hospice of Union County Friday, Feb, 28, 2014. She was born June 16, 1936, in Hanceville, Ala. Edith was one of nine children and the daughter of the late Earl and Irene Kretzschmar. She was raised in Alabama, where she met her husband, Ed, and where many of her family and friends still reside. Edith and Ed have been active members of Morning Star Lutheran Church of Matthews for over 30 years. Edith enjoyed camping, sewing, gardening and going to yard sales.
