William Keith Knight

Funeral services for William Keith Knight, 46, of Cullman will be at 2 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 29, 2006, at Valley Springs Baptist Church, with burial in the church cemetery.

Moss-Service Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Mr. Knight died Thursday, Oct. 26 at his residence.



Benito A. Mauricio

Funeral services for Benito A. Mauricio, 91, of Cullman will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 28, 2006, at Seventh Street Baptist Church, the Rev. Kerry Cleghorn officiating, with burial in Cullman Memory Gardens. The body will lie in state one hour prior to services.

Moss-Service Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Mr. Mauricio died Wednesday, Oct. 25 at his residence. He was born on April 3, 1915, to Santiago and Dominga Agne Mauricio. He was an electrical engineer with General Motors.

He was preceded in death by his parents; two sisters; and a brother.

Survivors include his wife, Peggy Jean Martin Mauricio; two daughters, Helen Delores (Ron) Dingler of West Point and Inga Jean (Don) Johnson of Cullman; a brother, Isabelo Mauricio of the Philippines; two sisters-in-law, Katherine Heinl of Cullman and Peggy Martin of Lucedale, Miss.; five grandchildren, Stacey (Bud) Richardson, James Johnson, James (April) Dingler, Melissa Johnson and Jordan Johnson; four great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews.

A special thanks to Hospice of Cullman County and Seventh Street Baptist Church for all of their loving care.

Visitation was Friday.



John Clifford Westerfield Jr.

Memorial services for John Clifford Westerfield Jr., 66, of Cullman will be held at 4 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 29, 2006, at Destiny Church on Childhaven Road half a mile north of Highway 157.

Mr. Westerfield died Wednesday, Oct. 25 at UAB Medical Center after an extended illness. He was born on July 24, 1940, to John C. and Christine Edgin Westerfield. He had worked for Nicholson File for 30 years, American Protein for 10 years as well as the Cullman City Police Department and also as a security officer for Burger King for many years. A faithful member of Destiny Church, John was also a member of the Cullman Rotary Club, the Christian Motorcycle Association and the Cullman Aeronautics group.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Survivors include his wife, Elaine Westerfield; four children, Sherry (Randy) Frost, Patti (Stanley) Stricklin, Debbie McNutt and Johnny (Debbie) Westerfield III; former spouse, Sue Westerfield; four stepchildren, Kenneth (Debbie) Alvis Jr., Shannon (Omar) Rodriguez, Jeremey (Lara) Alvis and Martha (Danny) Alvis; a brother, Steve (Pauline) Westerfield; 10 grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews and other family and friends.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Destiny Church Building Fund, P.O. Box 2517, Cullman, AL 35056.
