McIntosh, West, Cone, Boyd

Drewie Lee McIntosh

Funeral services for Drewie Lee McIntosh, 80, of Hanceville will be at 2 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 6, 2006, at Hanceville Funeral Home Chapel, Bro. Larry Woods officiating, with burial in Laodicea Cemetery.

Hanceville Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Mr. McIntosh died Friday, Aug. 3 in Hanceville. He was born in Laurel Hill, Fla., on Sept. 22, 1925, to Amie Lee and Eiler Tew McIntosh.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Survivors include his wife, Betty Brake McIntosh of Hanceville; three children, Deborah B. McIntosh, Ann and Park Grimmer of Birmingham and Phyllis and Jeff Helms of Garden City; three grandchildren, Leslie, Shelley and Jamie Grimmer of Birmingham; and a brother, Ken McIntosh of Dalton, Ga.

Visitation will be from 5:30 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.



William G. 'Bill' West

Funeral services for William G. "Bill" West, 75, of Cullman will be at 2 p.m. Monday, Aug. 7, 2006, at Cullman Heritage Chapel, Dr. David Chambers and the Rev. Milt Hill officiating, with a graveside service and burial at 4 p.m. in Maple Hill Cemetery.

Cullman Heritage Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Mr. West died Thursday, Aug. 3 at Cullman Regional Medical Center. He was born on Jan. 16, 1931, in Union County, Tenn., to Edgar Frederick and Nettie Gray West. He was an inspector with General Motors.

He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers; and a sister.

Survivors include his wife, Joyce Rogers West of Cullman; a nephew, Gary West of Kokomo, Idaho; two nieces, Linda Hancock and Pamela West, both of Kokomo, Idaho; three sisters-in-law, Elizabeth Medlen, Gertrude Price and Rita Keel, all of Huntsville.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to First Baptist Church of Fairview Building Fund, 1022 Welcome Road, Cullman, AL 35058.

Pallbearers will be Congressman Robert Aderholt, Chris Bales, Norman Bales, Wiley Kitchens, Dave Ozment and Wayne Walker.

Visitation will be from 5:30 to 9 p.m. Sunday.



Sarah Bedith Cone

Funeral services for Sarah Bedith Cone, 90, of Hanceville will be at 2 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 6, 2006, at Moss-Service Chapel, Donald Lee Abbott and Dillon Calvert officiating, with burial in Shelton Grove Cemetery.

Moss-Service Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Cone died Thursday, Aug. 3 at her residence.



Hulen Russell Boyd

Hulen Russell Boyd, 74, of Addison died Friday, Aug. 4, 2006, at his home.

Services are pending, with Nichols Funeral Home of Addison in charge of arrangements.
