Funeral services for Erma Krin Jester, 80, of Cullman will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, April 15, 2006, at Bethlehem West Baptist Church, Tim Aris, Jerry Lake and Kelton Williams officiating, with burial in Cross Roads Cemetery. Mrs. Jester will lie in state one hour prior to services.

Mrs. Jester died Thursday, April 13 at Cullman Regional Medical Center. She was born on March 24, 1926, to George and Eura Ragland Rodgers. She was a retired lunchroom worker from West Point School.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and her brother, Tony Rodgers.
Survivors include her husband, Athel B. Jester of Cullman; two sons, Bennie (Sheila) Jester and Terry (Terri) Jester, both of Cullman; a daughter, Linda (Richard) Kier of Decatur; a sister, Itra Marshall of Vinemont; six grandchildren, Carla (John) Fussell, Bryan Holden and Alan Jester, all of Cullman, Nora (Daniel) Campbell of Hartselle, Lara Dunn of Decatur and Jeremy (Tracy) Jester of Birmingham; and three great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Alan Jester, John Fussell, Daniel Campbell, Bryan Holden, Phillip Jester and Dana Welch.

Carlton Eugene Stafford, 82, of Cullman passed away Saturday, July 26, 2014, at Cullman Regional Medical Center. He was born April 14, 1932, James and Mary Katherine Brown Stafford. Mr. Stafford was an Air Force veteran of the Korean War. He was the original owner of Carlton’s restaurant.

Susan Werner died Monday, July 21, 2014, as a result of an apparent fall at her home in Gainesville, Florida. Susan grew up in Jacksonville, Florida, and, after graduation from FSU, spent many years in Cullman, where she taught elementary school and received a master’s degree from UAB. While in Cullman, she married Robert Werner and helped run a family retail business.
