Ira Earl Purdy
Funeral services for Ira Earl Purdy, 82, of Hanceville will be at 2 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 11, 2012, at Hanceville Funeral Home Chapel, with interment in Fairview West Cemetery.
Hanceville Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Purdy passed away Thursday, Nov. 8, at Marshall County Hospice.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Ellis and Elsie Purdy; a grandson, Brandon David Purdy; a sister, Stella Wasnetsky; and a son-in-law, Kenneth Self.
Survivors include his wife, Marie Purdy; four children, Diann Self, Becky (Chuck) Rice, David Purdy and Ellis Purdy; eight grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends from 5 to 8 p.m. Saturday.
