Funeral services for Lillie Cook, 89, of Hanceville will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, July 25, 2009, at Hanceville Funeral Home Chapel, the Revs. David McDonald and Dean Burtram officiating, with interment in Fairview West Cemetery in Hanceville.
Hanceville Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Cook died Thursday, July 23, at Cullman Regional Medical Center. She was born Monday, Sept. 8, 1919, in Cullman County to Homer and Dellie Grimmett Cone.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, David Cook; a son, Tony Cook; and two grandsons, Barry Clements and Neal Cook.
Survivors include three sons, Billy (Ann) Cook, Michael Cook and Kenneth (Shelia) Cook; five daughters, Faye Nell Cook, Barbara Duckett, Charlott (James) Clements, Frances (Frankie) Whitehead and Kaye (Jim) Wingo; a daughter-in-law, Glenda Cook; 16 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 6:30 to 9 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
