Funeral services for Wanda Joyce Williams, 70, of Cullman will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday, July 8, 2009, at Cullman Heritage Funeral Home Chapel, Bro. Ray Lathem officiating, with entombment in Cullman Heritage.
Cullman Heritage Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Williams died Sunday, July 5, at Cullman Regional Medical Center. She was born March 11, 1939, in Cullman County to Durrell C. and Edna Hazel Speegle Scott. She was retired from Merchant’s Bank.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and her father-in-law, Robert C. Williams.
Survivors include her husband of 53 years, James M. Williams of Cullman; two sons, Doug (Ann) Williams of Cullman and Scott (Krista) Williams of Cleveland; a sister, Patti (Tony) Housch of Cullman; her mother-in-law, Geneva Williams; nine grandchildren, Amanda (Jarrett) Stanton, Elizabeth Whitlock, Steven (Amanda) Williams, James Williams Jr., Alex Williams, Olivia Williams, Tray Owens, Shelby Owens and Tyler Gilliland; two great-grandchildren, Sylar Williams and Meredith Stanton; and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Omega Hospice.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
