Funeral services for Ellos L. Tidwell, 86, of Gardendale will be at 2 p.m. Monday, July 6, 2009, at Ridout’s Gardendale Chapel, with burial in Oakwood Memorial Gardens.
Ridout’s Gardendale Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Tidwell passed away Thursday, July 2. He was a member of Green Station Baptist Church and was an U.S. Army veteran of World War II.
Survivors include his wife of 61 years, Irene S. Tidwell; two daughters, Judy Moore of Cullman and Joan (Norman) Pinyan of Warrior; a son, Johnny (Lindy) Tidwell of Meadowbrook; four granddaughters, Jennifer, Melissa, Keyla and Jessica; and five great-grandsons, Tommy, Stevie, Austin, Joshua and Bradley.
The family will receive friends from 4 to 7 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
