Harlon Sherrill ‘Red’ Baker

Funeral services for Harlon Sherrill “Red” Baker, 61, of Arley will be at 11 a.m. Monday, July 6, 2009, at Cullman Funeral Home Chapel, the Revs. Lavern Crawford and Donnie Cason officiating, with interment in Central Baptist Cemetery.

Cullman Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Mr. Baker passed away Thursday, July 2, at his residence. He was born April 21, 1948, to Archie Alfred and Dorothy Lutisha White Baker. He was loved and respected by all who knew him.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Isaac Jack and Eula Mae Key; and three brothers, Orvis Key, Kenneth Baker and Jimmy Baker.

Survivors include his wife of 42 years, Dorothy Ann Baker; a son, David Wayne Baker; three daughters, Cheryl Ann (Steve) Wilson, Jackie Diane (Ricky) Quick and Tammy Renae Baker; three brothers, Carl Baker, Cordis Key and Micheal Baker; six sisters, Audrey Talley, Clura Quick, Betty Fae Spain, Kay Nichols, Melba Nelson and Patsy Payton; seven grandchildren, Amanda Netherton, Lacie Netherton, Misty Freeman, Dakota Wilson, Kourtney Quick, Dalton Quick and Harlon Brian Blankenship; a great-grandchild, Ally Reece Freeman; and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.

Pallbearers will be Danny Miller, Steven Hines, Buddy Powell, John Driver, David Tilley, Christian Smith, Steve Wilson and Bo Miller.

Visitation will be from 5:30 to 9 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
