Delena Harbison Clay Guthery

Funeral services for Delena Harbison Clay Guthery, 89, of Vinemont will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday, May 14, 2008, at Moss-Service Funeral Home Chapel, Bro. Max Hagood officiating, with interment in New Hope No. 1 Cemetery in Jones Chapel.

Moss-Service Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Guthery passed away Sunday, May 11, at her residence. She was born on May 18, 1918, in Cullman to Marion and Margaret Harbison.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Earnest Guthery; a sister, Dorothy Hale; and three brothers, Frelon, Basil and Howard Harbison.

Survivors include a son, Kent (Faye) Woods; two grandchildren, Joseph Woods and Chanda O’Neil; three great-grandchildren, Brandon Woods, Chase Woods and Caragan O’Neil; a sister, Avis Rooker; and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.

Visitation will be from 6 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
