Bobby Elwin “Hap” Johnson

— Funeral services for Bobby Elwin “Hap” Johnson, 67, will be Wednesday, May 7, 2008, at 2 p.m. at Moss-Service Funeral Home Chapel with interment in Center Grove Baptist Church Cemetery. Rev. Laymon Brewer, Jr. and Rev. Dennis Trimble will be officiating.
Moss-Service Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Johnson died Monday, May 5, 2008 at Cullman Regional Medical Center.
He was born Nov. 30, 1940, to Earsie P. Johnson and Jewel Johnson. He retired after 34 years with 3M Company in Decatur. Mr. Johnson was very active in sports. He played baseball and umpired softball and baseball games.
He was preceded in death by his father.
Survivors include his spouse, Katherine Denney Johnson; son, Gary (Linda) Johnson; daughter, Sherrie Bagwell; mother, Jewel Johnson; brothers, Gerald (Janet) Johnson, and Byron Keith (Donna) Johnson; grandchildren Ashlie Johnson, Jake Johnson, Luke Bagwell and Mason Johnson; and beloved pet, Lulabelle.
Visitation was Tuesday May 6, 2008.
