Funeral services for Mr. Garland Joseph Talbert, 90, of Cullman, will be Friday, May 9, 2008 at 2 p.m. at Cullman Funeral Home Chapel with interment in Cullman Memory Gardens, Bro. Shirley Witcher officiating.
Cullman Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Talbert died Tuesday, May 6, 2008 at Select Specialty Hospital in Birmingham. He was born Aug. 25, 1917 in West Virginia to parents Milam William and Ullanee Haynes Talbert.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife Edith Talbert; brother, Franklin Talbert and sister, Evelyn Talbert.
Survivors include his son, Franklin Joe (Catherine) Talbert; grandchildren, Georgann (Brian) Wilbanks, Gabrielle Talbert; great-grandchildren, Kara Jane Johnson, Cameron Johnson, Jacob Palmer, Elijah Palmer, Audriana Wilbanks, Isabelle Wilbanks.
Visitation will be Thursday at the funeral home from 6-8 p.m.
