Lillie Mae Kimbril Parker
Funeral services for Lillie Mae Kimbril Parker, 82, of Cullman, will be at 2 p.m. Sunday, April 20, 2008 at Moss-Service Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow at Simcoe Baptist Cemetery with Rev. Kenneth Reeves officiating.
Moss-Service Funeral Home of Cullman is in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Parker passed away on Friday, April 18, 2008 at Woodland Medical Center. She was born on March 20, 1926 to Homer League and Ethel James League in Morgan County. She had been a homemaker then worked at Cullman Nursing Home and a volunteer for the Commission on Aging, and also a member of East Side Baptist Church.
She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Buford Kimbril; one daughter, Mary (Ricky) Scott; one son, Wendell Kimbril; one sister, Estelle Weaver; four brothers, Howard, Willie, Gene and Ross League.
Survivors include two daughters, Mae Taylor of Colorado and Peggy (Charles) Hagemore of West Point; three sons, Grady Kimbril of Ashville, NC, Kenneth Kimbril of New Market, AL and Perry (Danell) Kimbril of Altoona, AL; 13 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren.
Visitation was Saturday.
