— Funeral services for Hannah Thomas, 92, of Cullman will be 11 a.m. Friday, April 18, 2008 at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church with interment at Hopewell Cemetery, Warren Ruland officiating.
Moss-Service Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
She died Tuesday, April 15, 2008 at Cullman Regional Medical Center. She was born April 14, 1916 to William Theodore Hartwig and Amelia Augusta Rau Hartwig. She was a homemaker.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Julius J. Thomas; a sister, Elizabeth Hartwig; two brothers, Henery and Fritz Hartwig; a son-in-law, Paul Ray Barbee; and a granddaughter, Chris Ann Barbee.
Survivors include two daughters, Katherine Barbee and Dorothy (William) Culver; five grandchildren, Frank (Dawn) Barbee, Don (Doris) Barbee, Jo Ann Eller, Sonya (Robert) Hoffman and Cindy (Brandon) Parker; 15 great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, 513 Fourth Ave. SE, Cullman, AL 35055.
Visitation 6-9 p.m. Thursday, April 17. Mrs. Thomas will lie in state from 10-11 a.m. Friday at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church.
