Funeral services for Bertha Miller Akin Ivey, 91, of Cullman will be at 3:30 p.m. Friday, April 18, 2008 at Welcome Baptist Church in Baileyton. The body will lie in-state one hour prior to the service.
Arab Heritage Memorial Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Ivey passed away at Woodland Village Nursing Home on April 16.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Thomas A. and Tula Miller; husbands Euel Akin and John Ivey; three brothers, Lester, Forrest and Freeman Miller; and one sister, Sybil Rasco.
Survivors include two daughters, Agnes (Delton) McElroy and Linda (Jimmy) Harden; two sons, Dewayne Ivey and Willard Ivey; eight grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. Thursday, April 17, 2008 at Arab Heritage Memorial Chapel.
