William O. ‘W.O.’ Tucker
Funeral services for William O. “W.O.” Tucker, 81, of Bremen will be at 1 p.m. Saturday, April 12, 2008, at Moss-Service Funeral Home Chapel, the Revs. Dillon Calvert and Tommy Graves officiating, with interment in Ryan’s Creek Cemetery.
Moss-Service Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Tucker passed away on Wednesday, April 9, at Woodland Medical Center. He was born on Dec. 30, 1926, to Oliver Tucker and Bessie McDonald Tucker. He served his country proudly in World War II, in the U.S. Army, was a member of Ryan’s Creek Baptist Church, and a lifelong resident of Cullman County.
He was preceded in death by by his parents; his wife, Lorene Tucker; a son, Darrel Tucker; three sisters, Doris Tucker, Roberta Tucker and Marie Tubbs; two brothers, Farris Tucker and Junior Tucker; a brother-in-law, Olvin Graves; his stepfather, Dewey Downing; and his father- and mother-in-law, Floyd and Lona Graves.
Survivors include a son, Michael D. (Cathy) Tucker; two grandsons, Kyle (Jennifer) Tucker and Scotty Tucker; a special friend, Ruby Lay; two brothers-in-law, Edgar (Betty) Graves and Ellis (Faye) Graves; his sister-in-law, Ruth Graves; and a host of nieces, nephews and other friends.
Visitation will be from 5 to 9 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
