PREP BASKETBALL: Parker paces Addison in win over rival Lynn
ADDISON — ADDISON — Kaitlin Parker poured in 18 points, helping lead the Addison High girls basketball team to a 53-27 win over Lynn Monday night.
It didn’t take Addison (2-1) long to set the tempo. The Bulldogs used a 20-4 run in the first quarter to take a commnading lead early.
Addison put the game out of reach in the second half, using a 16-6 run in the third quarter to take a 25-point lead.
Sadie Beam scored nine points for the Bulldogs, while Alex Scott tossed in eight. Kali Lake added seven points.
Addison doesn’t play again until Tuesday, Dec. 1 when the Bulldogs host rival Winston County.

That time finally came in the fourth quarter.
Aycock poured in 15 points in the final period, leading Good Hope High to a 72-55 win over Vinemont in the Class 3A, Area 12 title game Monday night.
