COLLEGE FOOTBALL: Tide, Tigers announce Fan Days

CULLMAN — Both the University of Alabama and Auburn University have announced their Fan Days.

The Crimson Tide will hold its on Sunday, August 5, where the team will hold an open practice in Bryant-Denny Stadium. There will be a player and coach autograph session held on the field afterward.

Further details will be announced when they’re finalized.

The Tigers’ Fan Day is Sunday, August 12 from 2-4 p.m. at Auburn Arena. Admission is free.

Doors open at 1:30 when fans can get in line for autographs. Each fan may only bring one item to be signed. Available for autographs is football head coach Gene Chizik along with other members of the football team, the Auburn cheerleaders, Tiger Paws, and the soccer and volleyball teams. Aubie will be available for pictures, but not autographs.

Posters and schedule cards will be provided at no charge.

 To access returning starters from last year's team, fans will need to enter the Auburn Arena from the south side.

To access the remaining football players, cheerleaders, Tiger Paws, Aubie and the soccer and volleyball teams, fans will need to enter the main arena entrance, located on the north side of the arena.

Remaining members of the offense and special teams will be positioned on the main arena floor while the remaining defensive players will be located on the scholarship  terrace on the main concourse level.

Fans interested in obtaining Coach Chizik's autograph will be asked to enter the arena through the Scholarship Entry on the southeast corner. There will not be access to Coach Chizik's line from inside the arena.

The cheerleaders, Tiger Paws, soccer, volleyball and Aubie will be located in the Kids Zone section on the main concourse.

Concessions and restrooms will be available.
