LOCAL GOLF: Lindsey takes 3-shot lead into final day of Cullman Golf Course Spring Invitational

CULLMAN — Todd Lindsey went low with a 5-under 67 on Saturday to head into the final day of the Cullman Golf Course Spring Invitational with a three-shot lead over Jake Tucker and Josh Roberson.

Terry Kent is all alone in fourth at even par, while J.J. Adams, Trey Hanvey and Curtis Alexander were bunched up at 1-over to round out the Championship A flight.

Golfers making up the Championship B flight are as follows: Hunter Roberts, Billy Conner, Chris Agnew and Layne Rice, 2-over; and Sylas Elliott and Tommy Byrd, 3-over.

Golfers making up the first flight are as follows: Danielle Skipper, Wade Knight, Josh O’Neal, B.D. Little and Allen Jackson, 4-over; and Caleb Neighbors, Danny Conner and Jeremy Willingham, 3-over.

Golfers making up the second flight are as follows: Paul Woo, Wade Casey and Lew Tucker, 6-over; Wesley Thomas and Ronnie Golden, 7-over; and Blake Woo, 8-over.

Golfers making up the third flight are as follows: Martin Agnew and Jim Abt, 9-over; Paul Stidham and Steve Quick, 10-over; Cody Calvert, 11-over; Dylan Skipper, 13-over; and John Harris, 17-over.

Tee times for today’s final round will begin at 8:20 a.m. with the lead group of Lindsey, Roberson, Tucker and Kent scheduled to hit the course at 10 a.m.
