Teammates Trent Shoemaker, Devon Parker, Jake Chandler and Mason Smith were each good for two hits apeice. Cody Edge and Dexton Gregory also had hits. Gregory drove in two as well.

The win gave the Aggies their first area-series of the young season. Bailey said his team has set high goals for the year.

“We have a chance to do something,” he said. “We want to get to 20 wins and make the playoffs. This team has a ton of athletes, and I think we have a chance to do it.”
