Wallace State received double-digit contributions from four players, and the Lady Lions rolled to an easy 73-44 road victory over Southern Union on Tuesday evening.
Haven Albright (14 points), Jasmine Coleman (12), Morgan Smith (10) and Morgan Pearson (10) contributed the bulk of the offense Ron Burdette's squad, which sits at 17-3 on the season following the win.
The Lions shot 50 percent from the field, outrebounded their opponent 41-23 in the lopsided affair and notched a respectable 14 steals as well.
Other scorers included Ashley Rodgers, seven points; Brandee Busenlehner, five; Jaylan Snowden, four; Amber Carey, three; and DeAndrea Carter, Morgan Hardy, Hannah Sharp and Kaneisha Mixon, two apiece.
Wallace State is currently 2-0 in the Alabama Community College Conference and will take on Shelton State Monday night for a chance becoming the outright leader in the North Division. The men will also play to claim the same prize as the ladies on Monday.
