Following an opening round loss to Priceville, the Holly Pond girls basketball team reeled off three-straight wins, capping off its tournament with a 60-20 dismantling of host Danville to win the losers’ bracket.
Taylor Terry was once again the top Bronco, scoring 20 points in the victory.
Meg Gambrill had eight points to go along with Lexy Malone’s seven. Lexi Lynn threw in six.
The Broncos are now 5-1 on the year heading into next week’s game against New Hope.
% Cold Springs 45, Hartselle 42, 2OT
The Eagles won yet another close game this season, edging Hartselle by three points in the Danville Thanksgiving Tournament.
Hayden West was the top scorer for Cold Springs with 14 points.
Chloe Harbison had nine, Caitlyn Hall added eight and Karlee Perdue came up with six in the win for the Eagles.

The Eagles found their offensive groove against Hatton on Friday night.
Haley Freeman led all scorers with 26 points and was 8 for 11 from the 3-point line.
Caitlyn Hall tallied 18 points and Hayden West poured in 10.

The Broncos ran away with the game, securing their spot in the finals of the losers’ bracket.
Taylor Terry scored 25 points, leading all scorers.
Meg Gambrill pitched in with 17 and Natasha Holcombe added 16 points for Holly Pond.
Lexi Lynn tallied eight and Taylor Rowell netted six.
