The Cold Springs’ girls basketball team jumped four spots to No. 5 in this week’s ASWA poll. The Eagles currently sport a 10-3 record. The jump was likely aided by the Eagles’ big-time win over Class 3A, No. 7 Holly Pond last Friday.
The Lady Broncos stayed at No. 7 in their respective class with a 10-2 overall record.
On the boys’ side, Holly Pond cracked the top 10 for the first time this season.
The Broncos (9-2) came in at the No. 8 spot after being nominated the past two weeks.
Cullman (5-4), Fairview (5-3), Cold Springs (9-3) and Hanceville (7-3) all fell from the top 10 this week following unfortunate losses in the past week.
