Today: Patchy fog before 9am. Otherwise, sunny, with a high near 62. Calm wind becoming southeast around 5 mph in the afternoon.
Tonight: A 20 percent chance of showers after midnight. Increasing clouds, with a low around 45. East wind around 5 mph.

CERA to meet: The Cullman Educators Retiree Association will meet at 11 a.m. today at the Sacred Heart Conference Center, 916 Convent Road, Cullman 35055. All members are encouraged to attend.
CRMC to host heart disease conference seminar: Cullman Regional Medical Center’s WomenFirst & SeniorChoice Programs will offer a lunch-and-learn seminar heart disease today in CRMC’s Col. Cullman Room in the Community Education Center in Professional Office Building 2 (1912 AL Highway 157, POB 2, Cullman 35058). Speaker: Cardiologist Silvio Papapietro of CRMC’s Cardiology Clinic.
The event begins at 10:30 a.m. with free blood pressure screenings, followed by lunch and the seminar from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.
