Local legislators will host a town hall meeting Thursday at Cullman City Hall.
The event gets under way at 7 p.m. Sen. Paul Bussman and Reps. Mac Buttram and Ed Henry will speak and field questions from residents.
The meeting is open to anyone who is interested in learning about the issues facing the state legislature in the new session, which begins in February.
Lawmakers expect more difficulties in funding the General Fund budget this year, which handles Medicaid, prisons, courts and other services.
