Gentiva to host jewelry party: Gentiva Hospice and Home Health will hold a jewelry party from 5 to 7 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 11, at the office at 1217 Cullman Shopping Center, Cullman 35055. All proceeds to benefit the senior angel tree for need hospice, home health, nursing home residents and needy elderly in the community during the Christmas season.

Senior Citizens’ dance at VFW: A country dance will be held at 7 p.m. each Tuesday at the VFW, 112 Veterans Ave., Cullman 35055. Concessions available — no alcohol or smoking allowed. Admission is $5, public welcome. Stoney Lonesome Band will be entertainment. Info: Jeanette Caples at 256-287-0221. VFW building rentals are available Sunday through Friday. CMS concert and art showcase: The Cullman Middle School Christmas Concert and Art Showcase will be at 7 p.m. Dec. 11, in the high school auditorium. The concert will feature the sixth-, seventh- and eighth-grade bands along with the CMS Chorus and Violins. Art created by CMS students will also be on display. Prelude music will be performed by the CMS piano students beginning at 6:25 p.m. Admission is free.

Chamber seeking full-time tourism director; creates new board
