— Nicholson File has dealt with copper wire being stolen in the past, but burglars found something new they wanted to take on Tuesday night — the recently added security system.

The Cullman Police Department is investigating the theft of property, which occurred Tuesday night. The security system was recently installed.

According to the camera’s time stamp, the suspects were in the building on Tuesday, July 2, at 11:30 p.m. Assistant Police Chief Craig Green said the department is investigating the matter and they hope to work with citizens to gather any information.

“This is a case where we are certain the public can once again partner with our department to ensure the persons responsible are arrested in a timely manner,” Green said. “Any information would be greatly appreciated.”

Green said if anyone can help identify the suspects or has any information to contact the police department at 256-734-1434 .
