Saturday vehicle crash claims two; injures one

CULLMAN — A two-vehicle crash Saturday morning claimed the lives of two men and injured a woman. The crash occurred at 8 a.m. on Alabama Highway 69, 11 miles south of Dodge City.

Charles Shannon Box, 34, of Cullman was driving a 2001 Chevrolet pickup when it collided with a 2004 Kia Amanti, driven by Billy Fray Mays, 75, of Hanceville. Both drivers were killed.

Dorothy Mays, 73, a passenger in Mays' vehicle, was injured. No additional information is available at this time as Alabama State Troopers continue to investigate.
