BIRMINGHAM, Ala. —
A Huntsville man has been indicted on charges of robbing or attempting to rob 11 banks across north Alabama.
U.S. Attorney Joyce Vance said a federal grand jury indicted 32-year-old Cedrick Lamond Hicks on Thursday. He's charged with nine counts of bank robbery and two counts of attempted bank robbery. The banks were robbed of more than $43,000 between 2006 and this year. The banks are in Huntsville, Madison, Guntersville, Decatur, Rogersville, Hamilton, Albertville and Cullman.
Court records do not indicate if Hicks has an attorney yet.
