Holly Pond library board given control of funding

HOLLY POND — In other business the council:

 Elected to change the locks of the senior citizen building because there were an excessive number of keys that haven’t been turned in following renting of the building.

 Stated their plan to fix several street lights that are currently out.

 Revealed that no date has been announced to start the long-time project on Holly Pond Road.

 Voted to set the public park to close by 11 p.m., unless a scheduled, special event was going on after 11 p.m.

The next regular business meeting will be Monday, June 2, at 7 p.m. at Guy Hunt Memorial Library’s meeting room.
