A Hartselle woman was killed in a two-vehicle crash Tuesday evening on U.S. Hwy. 31, three miles north of Cullman.
Vera Hollingsworth, 60, of Hartselle died in the 4:10 p.m. accident while traveling as a passenger in a 2013 Chevy driven by Cynthia Hagemann, 37, of Hartselle.
Hagemann was injured in the crash, along with Effe Hagemann, 11, and Stinnett Hagemann, 7. All occupants were wearing a seatbelt.
The second vehicle involved was a 2005 Chevy driven by Vinemont resident Joshua Veres, 25. He was also injured and was wearing a seatbelt.
Tuesday’s crash marks the 307th fatality in Alabama year-to-date, down slightly from 316 at this time in 2012.
