CULLMAN —
Candidates for probate judge of Cullman County will appear for a question-and-answer session Thursday at All Steak Restaurant.
The event is scheduled to begin with lunch at 11:30 a.m. Introductions of the candidates will begin at 11:55 on the third floor of the restaurant.
Hosted by the Cullman Area Chamber of Commerce and The Cullman Times, the forum is free to the public. Lunch is optional, but available for $10 per person. The forum is scheduled to end at 1p.m.
Provided additional time is available, state Rep. Mac Buttram will make a presentation about state amendments on the Nov. 6 ballot.
The probate judge race features incumbent Leah Patterson Lust, a Democrat, and challenger Tammy Brown, a Republican.
Questions will be asked by Brian Lacy, representing the chamber of commerce, and The Times Editor David Palmer.
